The Egbe Bobagunte (Okunrin), Akile-Ijebu led by the *Bobaseilu of Ijebu, Otunba ( Giwa) Adesanya Yusuf, the Giwa Egbe has urged th TVe people of Ogun State to re-elect Governor Dapo Abiodun, MFR, for a second term based on his outstanding performance which is line with the approach of the World Bank on good governance.*
In a press statement *signed by Otunba Adesanya Yusuf* in Ijebu Ode at the weekend, he attributed *the success of Gov. Abiodun, MFR to the basic elements of governance which are; accountability, participation, predictability and transparency.*
In his words, *”in line with the approach of the World Bank, Gov. Abiodun MFR, has approached governance with the four basic elements of the World Bank; accountability, participation, predictability, and transparency”*
Continuing, he said, *New roads were constructed while many others were rehabilitated and evenly distributed across the State*
More importantly, *the actualisation of the new Cargo Airport which will further boost the economy and infrastructural developments in the gateway State.*
Other areas, *such as security, participatory governance, youths and women developments, the Rule of Law and cost effectiveness in governance are highly commendable”.*
*”With all these and many others which are feasible to all, Gunte Abiodun, MFR, deserves a second term as governor of Ogun State”*, he added.
In conclusion, he said further that, *the governor has demonstrated that, effective leadership is not about making speeches or being liked; it is about being proactive and doing what the people wants.*
