It was all pomp and pageantry as Hon. Princess Yetunde Ajetunmobi-Wuraola, former media aide to the late Governor Abiola Ajimobi was received into the fold of the ruling Peoples Democratic party in the state a couple of weeks ago.
The grand reception which took place at ward 8, Isalu in Iseyin Local Government was witnessed by party chieftains and other major stakeholders like the Iseyin Local Government chairman – Hon Mufu Abilawon, State House of Assembly member – Hon Dele Adeola, Chief Doyin Babalola, Alh. Rasaq Fadipe.
Also in attendance was the women wing of the party led by the Oyo North Senatorial Women Leader – Alhaja Sakirat Alhazan, Iseyin Local Government women leader- Alhaja Bimbo Olona, Mrs Toyin Awonbiowo, as well as ward 8 women leader- Mrs Morili, amongst several other party faithfuls.
In her brief remarks at the event, Princess Ajetunmobi-Wuraola said she was deeply impressed by the good works H.E. Gov Seyi Makinde is doing, particularly for her people in Iseyin, oke-ogun and Oyo state as a whole and that informed her decision to dump the main opposition party in the state- the APC, so she can deploy her energy towards working and mobilizing support for him towards his second term victory as well as other PDP candidates in the forth coming elections.
