Two corps members serving in the Mikang Local Government Area of Plateau State were on Thursday kidnapped by gunmen. Sources said the corpers were on their way to buy some drugs in a nearby pharmacy in Zomo community of the LGA when the gunmen whisked them away.

A resident of the community, Silas Christopher, told our correspondent about the incident on Friday. He said one of the victims identified as Obinna Hailary managed to escape, as the abductors dragged them into the bush.
