The development comes hours after Peter Obi, presidential candidate of Labour Party, met with Wike in Rivers.

The presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Kwankwaso, on Friday, held a meeting with Nyesom Wike, governor of Rivers.

Also present at the meeting was Ayodele Fayose, former governor of Ekiti.

The development comes hours after Peter Obi, presidential candidate of Labour Party, met with Wike in Rivers.

Kwankwaso was said to be in Rivers for a meeting with his supporters ahead of the presidential election.
