The Key Pillar and Secretary-General of the Oyo State Chapter of Tinubu/Shettima Grassroots Independent Campaign Council and a frontline Governorship hopeful for Oyo State come 2027, Barr. Akeem Adedeji Agbaje has urged Nigerians and Oyo State in particular to join him in standing in solidarity with the President towards full realisation and delivery of the benefits derivable from the Renewed Hope Agenda to Nigerians.

This was conveyed through a statement from his media office made available to newsmen in Ibadan on Friday, Barr Agbaje described the President’s policies in his first two years in office as “bold and courageous” rooted in the Renewed Hope Agenda aimed at repositioning the nation for eventual “economic recovery, institutional reform and inclusive development”.

He stressed further that the reforms which came with some initial inconveniences are now easing up, with its intended positive effects now being felt in the public space across all sectors – specifically in the spheres of transportation infrastructure, wage increase, unprecedented rise in distributable national revenue, tax reforms, people-centered loans, food security and national security matters, amongst others.

“The reforms may be demanding in the short term, but they are necessary steps to correct years of structural imbalances and to ensure a more productive and competitive economy”, the statement added.

He appealed to Nigerians to be unceasing in their prayers, support, and patience in the unfolding years, 2027 and beyond. “Let’s show love, understanding for Mr President, and believe in his demonstrated sincerity in bringing prosperity to all and the coming generations” he admonished .
