Former Chairman, Board of Nigerian Communications Commission(NCC), Prof Adeolu Akande has described the death of a fellow Compatriot and party stalwart, Barr. Isaac Ajiboye Omodewu as “painful, tragic and shocking”.

In a statement released in Abuja on Monday, he described the deceased as an energetic politician and a focused growth- agent firmly tied to party loyalty, which he exhibited while “we both served under Governor Abiola Ajimobi as Chief of Staff and commissioner respectively”, the statement added.

While he prayed that God grants the soul of the departed sweet repose in eternity, he added that the entire family, Otu Community, Itesiwaju Local Government, Oke-Ogun and the entire Oyo APC be bestowed with the fortitude to bear the painful loss.
