Expressing sympathy for the veteran actor’s family, Musawa described him as a national asset and expressed confidence in his recovery.

She emphasized the importance of collective prayers and support from well-meaning Nigerians.

Musawa acknowledged Zack Orji’s significant contributions to Nollywood, describing him as one of the individuals who laid the foundation for the Nigerian film industry.

She pledged efforts to ensure he receives the best treatment, stating that supporting Orji aligns with the administration’s commitment to the welfare of artists and industry contributors.

Zack Orji, 64, reportedly slumped on New Year’s Eve and was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of the National Hospital in Abuja before being transferred to a private hospital for surgery.

The minister’s call for solidarity aims to provide not only medical support but also recognition of the contributions of artists like Zack Orji to the nation.
