The Chairman of the Federal Civil Service Commission, Prof. Tunji Olaopa, expressed concern over reports of job racketeering in the Federal Civil Service. After being sworn in by President Bola Tinubu, Olaopa pledged to collaborate with intelligence agencies to identify and penalize culprits, aiming to reform the commission’s reputation.

“I’m disturbed by the whole cash-and-carry reputation of the commission,” Olaopa said. “For me, we will do everything possible in collaboration with some of the intelligence and security agencies to make a few scapegoats and communicate a new image for the commission.”
