The Polytechnic, Ibadan, has announced a mid-semester break, according to a statement from the institution signed by the Registrar, Mrs. Modupe Fawale, on Friday. All students are directed to vacate their halls of residence promptly.

The statement emphasizes that parents and guardians should ensure the immediate recall of their children and wards.

Notably, the institution will not provide municipal facilities to the halls of residence during the break.

Furthermore, the statement indicates that the resumption of students will be communicated at a later date.

This decision suggests a temporary pause in academic activities, providing students with a break while awaiting further instructions on when to return.
