Former Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission,(NCC), Prof. Adeolu Akande has congratulated the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Mohood Olalekan Balogun on his 81st birthday celebration.
Prof. Akande in a statement in Ibadan noted that Oba Balogun has truly made remarkable contributions to humanity as an accomplished academician, a grassroots personality, and a first class monarch.
“I wish to join other well meaning Nigerians to celebrate the birthday of an uncommon traditional ruler. It is not every town that can be as lucky as Ibadanland to have a man of Oba Balogun’s stature on traditional stool.
It is not surprising therefore that Ibadanland has witnessed unprecedented peace during your reign as the Olubadan of Ibadanland”
It is our prayer that God will continue to bless you with good health to contribute more to the peace and progress of Ibadanland and Nigeria in general”.
