The National President of the Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Ambali Olatunji, has expressed criticism of President Bola Tinubu’s economic policies, which he believes are adversely affecting the masses.
Speaking at a National Youth Conference in Benin, Olatunji also questioned the size of the President’s cabinet, suggesting that a leaner government would be more appropriate given the current economic challenges.
He particularly highlighted concerns about the abrupt removal of fuel subsidies without adequate measures to mitigate its impact, emphasizing the need for a more considerate approach to governance.
