The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi, has returned from his Egypt trip.
Obi had announced his departure for Egypt to study the country’s education, power, planning and finance achievements.
He announced the three-day trip to the North African country via his verified Twitter account, @PeterObi, on Tuesday (June 14, 2022).
“I just departed for Egypt on a three-day visit as part of my detailed study of comparable countries to Nigeria. In Egypt, I am expected to understudy, among others, the Egyptian Power Sector, Education, Planning and Finance Sectors,” he wrote.’
In a video posted on Saturday evening by a Twitter user, Comrade Phils, who is the Executive Editor, Report Afrique International, which Obi retweeted, with the caption, “Leader of the new Nigeria, @Peterobi arrives Abuja Airport in Nigeria…”, Obi was seen struggling with supporters as he arrived the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport Abuja.
In the video, many of his supporters were seen trying to take a photo with him amid the noise and crowd.
