The joint leadership of the Oyo State Chapter of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) has directed all workers in the state , (public and private), to shun work on Thursday July 27, and instead report for work at the Secretariat of the Union in Ibadan so it can “jointly address the plight of workers in Oyo State”.

This was conveyed to reporters in Ibadan on Wednesday July 26, through a communique issued at the end of the unions’ joint meeting held on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at its Secretariat in Ibadan.
