A frontline Aspirant for the governorship ticket of Oyo State under the All Progressives Congress Party-APC, Barr Akeem Adedeji Agbaje, has stressed the need for sincere and sustained unity in the party, so it can convincingly win the state for both President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s second term, and the governorship candidate of the party in Oyo State, come 2027.

According to his goodwill message, delivered on his behalf by Hon. Johnson Gbadegesin, Chairman ADEHUN Strategy Committee, to representatives of the party faithfuls across the 33 LGAs of the state, at his campaign office, Oke-Ado, Ibadan, last Saturday, Agbaje declared that; “eight years out of government in Oyo state has not helped our people in enjoying the developmental strides which are the characteristics of the progressives, as exemplified by the impressive performance of the party at the federal level, across all sectors under the bold, courageous vision of Mr President”.

As such, he admonished them not to be discouraged by the party’s performance in the recently held Ibadan North Federal constituency bye-election; that they should see it as a temporary setback which is not insurmountable, assuring them that lessons have been learned in readiness for future elections.

The party delegates in their response to the address assured the conveners of their total commitment to achieving unity in the party for the ADEHUN project, as, according to them, it is only through victory for APC , their beloved Party and her candidates that democracy dividends can get to the people, and for themselves as Party faithfuls to be appropriately rewarded.
They unanimously pledged to work for the victory of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027, as well as the ADEHUN project in Oyo State.
