Vice President Kashim Shettima, present at the game, praised the players and officials in the dressing room, expressing pride in Nigeria’s accomplishment.
Accompanying the Vice President were Governors Dapo Abiodun and Duoye Diri, Minister for Youth Dr. Jamila Ibrahim, Oil mogul Wale Tinubu, FIFA Council Member Amaju Pinnick, and NFF President Ibrahim Musa Gusau.
