Lagos State Governor Unveils Iwosan Lagoon Hospitals, Emphasizes Private Sector’s Role in Healthcare Growth

The Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, unveiled the Iwosan Lagoon Hospitals on Ligali Ayorinde Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The hospital, a state-of-the-art facility, offers general services, including major procedures like open-heart surgery, bariatrics surgery, urology, neurology, critical emergency care, and more.

In a statement personally signed on Wednesday, Governor Sanwo-Olu emphasized the significance of involving the private sector in the healthcare industry to ensure access to high-quality medical care for citizens.

During the unveiling, he congratulated the management and staff of the Iwosan Lagoon Hospital for a successful inauguration.

“As a government, we are dedicated to creating an environment that fosters the growth of private enterprise in Lagos. Our ongoing commitment involves introducing policies aimed at increasing private investment in healthcare.

We firmly believe that involving the private sector in the healthcare industry is crucial to ensuring access to high-quality medical care for our citizens.”
