President Bola Tinubu expressed deep concern over recent kidnappings and bandit attacks in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and across the nation.
Addressing a delegation from the Islamic Movement, Jam’iyyatu Ansaridden, at the State House in Abuja, Tinubu condemned the incidents as disturbing and ungodly.
He assured swift action by security agencies and outlined plans for a comprehensive education initiative, emphasizing education as a crucial tool against national challenges.
Tinubu highlighted the commitment to building lasting peace, stability, and economic prosperity through education, considering it essential for the nation’s progress. He stated, “There is no weapon against poverty that is as potent as learning,” emphasizing the transformative power of education.
“I can assure you that we are here to change the life of our people. We are here to promote peace, stability, and economic prosperity. We are dedicated to building a lasting peace with a focus on the comprehensive education of our children,” Tinubu declared.
