Oyo State Government Denies Medical Personnel Recruitment Amidst False Social Media Claims

The Oyo State Government clarified on Friday that it was not currently recruiting medical personnel into the civil service.

Any announcement regarding recruitment will be officially communicated through government channels, according to a statement by the Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Prince ‘Dotun Oyelade.

The commissioner addressed the circulating false information on social media, emphasizing that there are no ongoing sales of application forms for the employment of medical personnel in the state. The government is still in the process of finalizing the recruitment procedure.

The public is urged to disregard the misleading information and await official communication. Once the arrangements for the recruitment process are concluded, the government will provide adequate information to the public.

For clarification, individuals are advised to visit the Office of the Permanent Secretary, State Hospitals’ Management Board, or contact the provided telephone numbers (07034776164 or 08037179610).
