The Aseyin of Iseyinland, His Royal Majesty, Oba Sefiu Olawale Oyebola Adeyeri III (Ajirotutu I), has initiated a three-day unity tour across the Oke Ogun region in Oyo State.
Accompanied by the Aare Gbobaniyi of Iseyinland, Honourable Shina Peller, who also holds the title of Ayedero of Yorubaland, Oba Aseyin commenced the tour with visits to Iganna, Okeho, Ilero, Igbojaiye, Okaka, and Ipapo on the first day.
The royal entourage engaged with fellow royal fathers in these towns, including the Sabiganna of Iganna Kingdom, Oba Saliu Oyemonla Azeez Agunloye IV, the Onjo of Okeho, Oba Rafiu Osuolale Mustapha, Adeitan II, and the Elero of Ileroland, Oba Wasiu Oyedele Saka Ilufemiloye I.
The tour served as an opportunity for Oba Oyebola to express gratitude to the royal fathers for their support during his coronation as the Aseyin of Iseyin.
Additionally, he emphasized the importance of love, peace, and unity across the Oke Ogun region, assuring his commitment to collaboration for regional progress.
Honourable Shina Peller commended Oba Oyebola for this initiative, describing it as laudable and likely to strengthen regional unity and progress.
Peller emphasized that the Aseyin’s willingness to work collectively with fellow royal fathers would contribute to building a desirable region.
Similarly, the Ayedero of Yorubaland urged all sons and daughters of Oke Ogun, both within the region and in the diaspora, to prioritize love, peace, and unity.
He emphasized that these values are crucial for achieving progress and development in Oyo State and Nigeria at large.
It is noteworthy that Governor Seyi Makinde presented the staff of office to Oba Sefiu Oyebola as the 30th Aseyin of Iseyinland on December 14, 2023.
