President Bola Tinubu returned to Lagos from Abuja ahead of Christmas, arriving at Murtala Muhammed International Airport at 03.55 pm via the Presidential Jet NAF 001.
The President, accompanied by his Principal Private Secretary, Mr Hakeem Muri-Okunola, and other close aides, was warmly received by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, his deputy, Dr Obafemi Hamzat, and key state officials. The welcoming crowd of supporters added to the festive atmosphere at the airport.
The Lagos State Cultural Troupe, showcasing traditional music and cultural dance, treated President Tinubu upon his arrival.
The President took the time to interact with the crowd, waving to those who gathered to welcome him back to Lagos for the Christmas celebrations.
Subsequently, Tinubu boarded a helicopter at the airport, destined for Dodan Barracks in Ikoyi. From there, he would proceed to his private residence in Lagos, marking the beginning of the festive season in the state.
