PDP Launches Akinola/Rahman Campaign Council for Saki-West Local Government Elections

Ahead of the local government elections in Oyo state, the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in Saki-West Local Government Area has inaugurated a campaign council.

The campaign council which was tagged Akinola/Rahman campaign council was inaugurated, on Tuesday, in Saki.

The campaign council is to be headed by Alhaji Waheed Oluwakemi and Alhaji Moshood Adesina as the Secretary.

These were contained in a statement signed by Alhaji Moshood Adesina, the secretary of the council and made available to newsmen.

Adesina said that the campaign council also has a finance committee, strategy and logistics committee which will be headed by Rt Hon Musah Abdulwasi, PhD and Hon Rafiu Adekunle respectively.

He added that members of the campaign council have been urged to work in unity and ensure the victory of all candidates of the party at the poll.

He expressed confidence that with the caliber of people in the committee, the party will win the chairmanship seat and councillorship seats in the election.

He commended Governor Seyi Makinde and the Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission (OYSIEC) over their moves towards having free, fair and credible elections in the state.

Members of the campaign council are Alhaji Waheed Oluwakemi (Chairman), Alhaji Moshood Adesina (Secretary), Alhaji Aiyesoro, Local Government Party Secretary, Local Government Party Women Leader, Barrister Waheed Ajibade, Barrister Lateef Sarafadeen Onijo, Deacon Olujimi, Hon Mudasiru Busari, Alhaji Idris Aloma, Alhaji Rasaki Azeez Aderede, Oladeji Oluwaseun, Alhaji Shittu Kekere, Esther Abokede, Mary Taiwo, Khadijat Baba, Mr Salawu O. O, Alfa Fatai, Mutiu Owotutu, Rasaki Dogo, Alhaji Fatai Oyalu, Hon Niyi Olabode, Wale Tuwoyin.

Members of the finance committee are Rt Hon Musah Abdulwasi, PhD (Chairman) Hon Niyi Adebisi, Hon Gbenga Akinola, Hon Rahaman Tiamiyu, Hon Najeemdeen Omirinde, Eng Sarafadeen Omirinde, Hon Soliu Saluadeen, Local Larry Financial Secretary, Chief Isaac Koleoso, Hon Femi Julius, Hon Ganiyu Supper, Hon Iyalaje and Alhaji Rasaki Yusufu.

Members of the strategy committee are Hon Rafiu Adekunle (Chairman), Alhaji Lateef Salami Komi (Secretary), Alhaji Dauda Alaraje, Engineer Najeem Omirinde, Alhaji Raheem Muslim, Hon Rasaki Fasasi, Hon Waheed Oluwakemi, Rt Hon Musah Abdulwasi PhD, Hon Niyi Adebisi, Alhaji Musibau Busari, Alhaji Fatai Olumota, Dr Saluadeen Lukman Adisa, Alhaji Moshood Adeyemo.
