High-ranking officials, including Deputy Inspectors General of Police (DIGs), Assistant Inspectors General of Police, Commissioners of Police (CPs), and other tactical commanders, will be in attendance.

During the meeting, Egbetokun will present the achievements of the police over the last 10 weeks.

The focus will be on reviewing anti-crime strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in maintaining peace and order in the country.

The announcement of this important gathering was made in a statement on Sunday by the Force spokesman, Ademuyiwa Adejobi.

The meeting is of utmost importance as it addresses critical security challenges prevailing in Nigeria.

These challenges range from terrorism in the North-East to banditry in the North-West and North-Central, as well as militancy and oil theft in the Niger Delta region.

Additionally, there are concerns related to calls for secession in the South-East, and criminal activities like kidnapping for ransom and ritualistic practices in the South-West.

Despite the commendable efforts of the police and other security agencies, criminal elements persist, causing panic among innocent Nigerians.

The call to have all hands on deck underscores the collective responsibility to provide robust security during the festive season.

As the nation grapples with multifaceted security issues, the meeting seeks to strengthen the resolve and strategies of the police to ensure the safety of citizens across the country.
