Federal Civil Service Targets Full Digitization by 2025: Head of Service Reports Progress

The Head of Service of the Federation, Mrs. Folashade Yemi-Esan, is confident that the entire Federal Civil Service will be fully digitized by the end of 2025. She revealed this progress during the 45th meeting of the National Council of Establishment in Bauchi.

Mrs. Yemi-Esan emphasized the Federal Civil Service’s significant strides in transforming and digitizing work processes. All ministries and MDAs are reportedly at different stages of implementing digitalization, with a mandate for full migration by the end of 2025.

Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, inaugurated the session and stressed the importance of collaboration. He announced measures to improve the state’s manpower, approving the recruitment of 10,000 workers across critical sectors.

The Bauchi State Head of Civil Service, Mr. Yahuza Adamu, reiterated the state’s commitment to workers’ welfare, providing a conducive working environment, and promoting discipline among employees.

The 45th meeting of the National Council of Establishment, attended by Heads of Service, Permanent Secretaries, and Directors of establishment from all 36 states, spanned three days. The discussions focused on various issues concerning the public service, aiming to advance its cause for national development.
