Oyo State Government Calls for Strict Adherence to Unified Examination Timetable in Public Primary Schools

The Chairman of Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (OYOSUBEB), Dr. Nureni Aderemi Adeniran, emphasized the importance of adhering to the unified examination timetable during a monitoring exercise for the first term exams in public primary schools.

The exams, which began today, are set to conclude on Friday, aiming for simultaneous participation across all schools.

Dr. Adeniran warned against malpractices, stating that no excuses would be accepted from teachers involved in exam irregularities.

He commended the preparedness of schools and students during inspections in Ibadan North, Ibadan North-East, and Ibadan South-West Local Governments, urging continued support from stakeholders for success in the education sector.

Notable schools visited included Abadina Basic Schools 1&2, Army Children’s School, and St. Brigid’s Covent School in Mokola, Ibadan.
