The Federal Government through the Federal Ministry of Works has announced the closure of the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos starting at 7 am on Monday.
The Federal Controller of Works in Lagos State, Olukorede Keisha, shared this information on Friday, emphasizing the government’s plans for extensive repairs on the bridge.
Keisha stated, “The Federal Government, through the Federal Ministry of Works, wishes to inform the motoring public that the government has perfected plans to carry out comprehensive repairs of Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos.”
In light of this, all four ramps connecting Adekunle to Third Mainland Bridge will be simultaneously closed.
As a result, motorists are advised to use alternative routes and cooperate with traffic management officials deployed to ensure smooth movement during this period of repair.
The closure aims to facilitate the necessary maintenance work and enhance the overall safety and functionality of the Third Mainland Bridge.
