Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, recently convened a meeting in Ibadan, where he was joined by other South-West counterparts, including Ondo Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.
The gathering, which included Dapo Abiodun (Ogun) and Biodun Oyebanji, focused on addressing regional and national issues.
Notably absent was Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, without any provided explanation for his nonattendance.
Akeredolu, serving as the chairman of South-West governors, expressed appreciation for the solidarity shown and highlighted the importance of ongoing collaboration.
Governor Makinde, in his remarks, offered support and prayers for Akeredolu.
This meeting took place following Akeredolu’s return from Germany after a three-month absence from Ondo.
