Ondo State Deputy Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has formally appealed to the Chief Judge of the state, Ayedun Odusola, to halt the State House of Assembly’s move to oust him from office.
Aiyedatiwa, through his legal representative, Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa (SAN), referenced an existing court order restraining the Assembly from proceeding with the removal process.
Emphasizing the importance of due process, Aiyedatiwa urged the Chief Judge to ignore any attempts by the Assembly to establish an investigative panel until pending court cases are resolved.
The deputy governor highlighted the Assembly’s acknowledgment of the court’s jurisdiction through its actions in ongoing legal proceedings.
