Prof. Adeolu Akande, Esq.,has urged Nigerians to keep hope alive by believing in President TINUBU’S capacity and sincerity when he promised to soothe the initial, temporary pains Nigerians are currently experiencing.
The ex-Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission(NCC), and professor of Comparative Politics made this plea through his Nigeria’s 63rd Independence Anniversary Celebrations message released to the media yesterday night in Ibadan, calling on Nigerians to keep faith with the renewed hope agenda of President Bola Tinubu administration.
He further admonished Nigerians to continue to support the present administration in the country in spite of the current challenges they are facing as a people.
“I enjoin every citizen to remain steadfast to the ideals of our founding fathers who fought for Independence for Nigeria. The labour of our heroes past shall not be in vain ”
” We must not lose hope in the capacity of President Tinubu to turn things round for good. I am sure the president and his team are working round the clock to implement policies that will lead to economic recovery. All the reforms are geared towards a better and prosperous nation.
It is not unusual that things may appear gloomy and uncertain at the beginning. But,there is light at the end of the tunnel. Nigeria shall overcome, “he submitted.
Professor Akande also called on the labour movement to support the initiatives of the government to take the country out of the present economic challenges.
