Former Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission(NCC), Professor Adeolu Akande has enjoined Muslims to emulate the exemplary virtues of Prophet Muhammad as they mark this year’s birth of the holy prophet of Islam.
The Professor of Comparative Politics in a statement in Ibadan, admonished the Islamic faithful to always remember these virtues of honesty, love, and humility among others which the prophet stood for while alive.
“As we celebrate this year’s Maulud Nabiyy, it is important for us to reflect on the teachings of Prophet Muhammad. He was a pious servant of Allah. ”

Professor Akande greeted President Tinubu and the entire Muslim ummah on the occasion of the Maulud Nabiyy. He prayed Allah to grant them all opportunities to witness many more on earth.
