Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) in Ile-Ife, Osun State, has recently unveiled revised fee structures for both new and returning students. The decision was reached during an emergency meeting of the University’s Senate on September 12, 2023, as announced by the institution’s Public Relations Officer, Abiodun Olarewaju.
For students enrolled in the Faculties of Arts, Law, and Humanities, new students will now pay N151,200, whereas returning students in these faculties will be charged N89,200. Meanwhile, students in the Faculties of Technology and Science will see new students paying N163,200 and returning students paying N101,200.
Furthermore, incoming students joining the Faculties in the College of Health Sciences and the Faculty of Pharmacy will be required to pay N190,200, while returning students in these faculties will incur a fee of N128,200.
These revised fee structures aim to ensure equitable financial arrangements for students across different faculties at OAU.
