I heard about a 30-year-old Nigerian Pastor, by the name,
Prosper Igboke. He committed suicide by jumping from a 2-story building just because he was ditched by his girlfriend after he trained her through the university to marry her after getting her degree. Unfortunately, the lady disappointed him.
He couldn’t bear the heartbreak so he decided to end it all.
This pastor should have seen red flags from the inception of the relationship up till the time of his disappointment but he ignored them. When a partner in a relationship complains over trifles, nags at every given opportunity, or skips appointments or dates whimsically with flimsy excuses, you should know that there is fire on the mountain of that relationship.
He died as a pastor without wisdom. He died a sinner by taking his own life over flesh. He died like a fool.
He killed himself over a lady when there were millions of other women out there who perhaps were more beautiful and more intelligent than her.
Training a lady through school is like playing a sports bet, you either win or lose.
People’s feelings change over time, a change that could be occasioned by the presence of better suitors, a noticeable human frailty that is akin to all men but may be varied in fashion. The only person to be trusted is the one whose feelings remain unchanged regardless of the times and situations.
