Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has reaffirmed the state’s commitment to technological advancement for development. The governor emphasized the establishment of a digital ecosystem to lay the foundation for tech-driven industrial growth. Addressing the state’s 32nd anniversary, Adeleke highlighted efforts to enhance academic infrastructure, boost the economy, create jobs, and build prosperity.
Governor Adeleke urged citizens to honor the state’s heritage by addressing weaknesses, seizing opportunities, and confronting challenges. He commended Osun’s progress over the past three decades, stating that the state has shown growth and resilience across various sectors.
Reflecting on his administration’s achievements, Adeleke noted accomplishments under a five-point agenda including workers’ welfare, education, healthcare, social security, and human capital development. Looking ahead, he called for strengthening transportation, energy, and digital connectivity to attract investment, promote trade, and enhance citizens’ quality of life.
Adeleke emphasized modernizing agricultural practices, supporting farmers, and fostering a culture of learning and innovation through improved educational facilities and research partnerships to drive food security and a knowledge-based economy.
