In an exclusive interview following his confirmation, Hon. Olajide expressed gratitude for the trust bestowed upon him by the House of Representatives. He pledged to lead the committee diligently in formulating and executing impactful initiatives.

He added that his priorities include bridging the digital divide, improving internet infrastructure in underserved regions, and promoting digital literacy among the population.

This appointment comes at a critical time when technology plays an increasingly crucial role in various aspects of life.

Hon. Olajide is well aware of the significance of addressing cybersecurity concerns to safeguard the nation’s digital assets and citizens from cyber threats. Under his leadership, the committee is expected to focus on enhancing cybersecurity frameworks, establishing robust data protection laws, and fostering collaborations between government agencies and private sector entities in the technology and cybersecurity domains.
