Buhari To Confer National Honours On Olubadan, Akintola, Dare, Akande, Alli, Aboderin Today

Olubadan of Ibadan, Ọba Mahood Lekan Balogun; legal luminary, Niyi Akintola SAN, as well as Sunday Dare, minister of youth and sports are among those to be conferred special national honours today by outgoing president, Muhammadu Buhari.

Others from Oyo State on the honour list included Laolu Akande and Tolani Alli, who are spokesman and documentary assistant to outgoing vice president Yemi Osinbajo. Wole Aboderin, one of the aides of outgoing First Lady Aisha Buhari is also on the list.

While Ọba Balogun would be conferred with Commander of the Federal Republic, CFR, the duo of Akintola and Dare are to get Commander of the Order of Niger, CON, title.

While Akande will get Officer of the Order of Niger, OON, Alli is in the Member of the Order of the Order, MFR, category. Another person in the MFR category is Wole Aboderin.
