Election Victory: Makinde Speaks, Says He’ll Work Harder To Deliver On Promises

Oyo state governor, Engr Seyi Makinde has dedicated his victory at the just concluded gubernatorial election to God and good people of the state.

Makinde emerged winner on Sunday after polling 563,756 to defeat the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Senator Teslim Folarin who polled 256,685 and other candidates.

“We dedicate this victory to God and the good people of Oyo State,” Makinde tweeted.

“We are grateful for your confidence in our administration and promise to work even harder to deliver our promises under Omituntun 2.0.”
