Buratai’s best kept ‘secret’
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on Whatsapp

A former Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai (retd.), is obviously a man who got to the pinnacle of his career before retiring in January 2021. He is currently Nigeria’s Ambassador to the Republic of Benin. As such, he has many reasons to be happy. But, one of his greatest joys does not come from his career accomplishments, but what his children have been able to achieve.

On Thursday, December 8, 2022, he was in an ecstatic mood when his son, Tukur (Jnr) flew him to Abuja from Sokoto State on an Arik Air flight.

The news came as a pleasant surprise to many who were not aware that the ex-general’s son was a pilot.

In a picture shared by the former chief of staff, he could not help but show his happiness with a pleasant smile plastered on his face.

He added the caption, “A great day, December 8, 2022, flown by my, son Tukur Buratai (Jnr) on Arik Air from Sokoto to Abuja. I felt very proud. It was a perfect combination with his captain, Ahmed Musa; a very courteous cabin crew. God bless you all.”
