Adeolu Akande has described the the late Aseyin of Iseyin as a formidable and courageous Monach whenever it came to defending and promoting the aspirations of his subjects within his immediate domain of Iseyin and the entire oke-ogun region of Oyo State.

While commiserating with the Royal family, the Baales and the Chiefs, the people of Iseyin , the Oke-ogun Council of Obas, the government and the good people of Oyo State on this glorious Kabiyesi’s descent into the underground abode of the Ancestors; he urged them to be consoled by the fact that Kabiyesi’s reign witnessed peace and progress for the town which endeared him to the people and his comrade Obas in Oke-ogun.

With this Kabiyesi’s sojourn to the land of the angels a huge unavoidable but bridgeable gap now exists between the departed and all those connected with the palace and therefore prayed that the Almighty Allah will soothe the resultant pains, the statement concluded.
