The Thanksgiving service which is the close of the Trinity week was filled with worshippers and congregants who came to give thanks and appreciation for yet another opportunity to witness the Trinity week 2022.

The Shepard of the church who is also the founder; pastor OLAFUSI explicitly preached the essence of Jesus Christ and who he truly his. In his Topic titled: JESUS THAT IS HIGHLY EXALTED ABOVE ALL with bible reference drawn from revelation 5 verses 1-14 ‘where the supremacy of JESUS was shown as the elders in heaven cast their crowns and worship him as he was the only worthy person to break the seven seals of the book’. Pastor OLAFUSI went further and explained the power embedded in the name of Jesus as seen in Philippians 2:9-10. Earlier on Wednesday at the commencement of the Trinity week, pastor OLAFUSI spoke on the topic: let your mercy speak lord which is also the theme of the Trinity week,he explained the mystery behind mercy and how mercy is the will of God.

“If you must serve God, you must be foolish, you must not be wise else, you will miss so Many things in Christ. If you must serve God, you must serve in indeed and in deeds. Mercy is what speaks when help is missing. Aside bible characters such as NAOMI, Rahab (the harlot), David etc, look at the life of President Muhammad buhari – he emerged as president after the fourth trial, upon emergence, he fell sick yet, he’s still alive. Our former president, Olusegun Obasanjo – a man already condemned to death by Abacha, awaiting hanging or firing squad was released without papers by Babangida and became the president for yet, 8years and still maintains international relevance till date. These and many more are what mercy can do” he said.

Evangelist Bankole on Thursday spoke on the difference between FAVOUR, MERCY AND GRACE. “Falling out of God’s favour makes us to beg for Mercy. You don’t beg for favour, you merit favour but you beg for mercy because you do not merit it. We have received God’s GRACE which is JESUS Christ through the Mercy of God thus, whosoever believes in him alone shall partake in his kingdom”.

The church prayed for God’s mercy to speak for Nigeria and that his will should be done.
